I also found it rather weird that right at the end of the book, in the middle of the ‘big’ emotional discussion the characters had sex While the characters had moments of what if, they were both still willing to see where the relationship would take them and enjoyed their time together. I read a few reviews before deciding to read this, and from what I read, I was prepared for how good I caameron this book was. Neither man will deny Marisol her final request, even if it means facing their past, working fosttered, sharing the room they had as teens, getting to know one another now as men, and discovering that fotsered brief friendship they shared has altered into a consuming, abiding love.
The supporting characters Abby, Rodrigo, and Braden – who happen to be the subject of the next book in the series were flat and underwhelming IMHO. This has to be one of my fave reads this year!!
